The Family Guide Doors expert group is busy writing a Family Guide for Doorfamilies in Revit. This manual documents matters such as orientation, zero point, and correct use of (Shared) Parameters, Object Styles, naming of components, line styles, and shading. The Family Guide Doors does not describe how to model the geometry itself. The Family Guide Doors is a blueprint for the approach to other "openings," such as Windows and Curtain Walls.
